Pulling Off a Midyear Reboot
And just like that, half of 2019 is gone and we’ve got only six months left to accomplish the goals we’d set for ourselves this year.
For many of us, the resolutions we created last January are no longer anything but a distant—and guilt-inducing—memory, and it’s all too easy to give in to resignation and to consign ourselves to trying again next year.
But as the former British Prime Minister Benjamin Disraeli once said, “The secret of success is constancy to purpose.” Hence, rather than getting discouraged and frustrated by the fact that half the year is gone, we can focus instead on the fact that we still have half a year with which to try. Moreover, the six months that have passed can provide us with information about what’s worked and what hasn’t worked—and we can use this information to actually gain momentum in fulfilling our intentions in the second half of 2019.
Therefore, in support of any efforts you might make to revitalize your goals this July, we’ll be sharing tips on our Instagram account on how to pull off a midyear reboot.
May you find the process of midyear realignment, reconnection and rejuvenation fulfilling and inspiring!
